Come join in the fun at the Saint-Boniface Museum! Take part in activities from the good old days including Butter Making, Quill Pen Writing, Laundry Day, Embroidery, Historic Sports and Voyageur Games. Explore the rich history which has been at the heart of the community for over 170 years!
The museum collects and preserves artifacts relating to Western Canada's French-Canadia heritage and aims to provide visitors with greater awareness and understanding.
Enjoy a guided tour of the museum as the engaging interpreters will lead the way! Wind your way through the exhibits that include the fur trade, the Metis, Louis Riel and much more. Check out the choir loft too which overlooks the restored chapel.
There are also outdoor walking tours to get involved in, including The Women who made us which celebrates artists, authors and more, the Moccasin Walk will share stories big and small to recognise the Metis Nation, the Saint Boniface Cemetery Tour will get you to visit the oldest cemetery in the region and you'll learn all about it's history. Plus lots more!
There are also lots of events and workshops for the whole family to enjoy.
