Lynn Canyon Park is one of the gems of the district of North Vancouver's Parks system, a forested park that features stunning creek and waterfall views and hiking trails through the temperate rainforest. It opened to the public in 1912 and the main attraction is the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge which towers 50 metres over the canyon!
The bridge stretches across the cayon which is full of raging waters, waterfalls and deeppools. It's free of charge making it a great experience for families with bounces up and down and sways from side to side with every step you take! The bridge is narrow so it can be a little nerve racking, but it does make for an amazing photo and experience! Once you've crossed, rhere's lots of different routes to take to wander through the park. There's a nearby swimming spot, and twin falls too.
Twin falls contains two amazing waterfalls and are a beautiful spot to take a swim as the waters are much more shallow and calmer. The 30 foot pool is a great summer swimming spot and a great place to cool off! You can also set up a picnic next to the river too, but it can get busy in peak times! There are also lots of winding trails through the forst to explore for all abilities too, whether you want a brisk climb or a quiet amble there's something for everyone!
