About Chouette a voir!

Chouette a voir! is the natural site of the Union québécoise de réhabilitation des oiseaux de proie (the Québec union for the rehabilitation of birds of prey).The biggest collection of birds in Quebec! It's the perfect place for a day out with the family and for any bird enthusiast! 

You'll find lots of things to do:

  • daily presentation of birds in flight where you'll get to see the birds in action and also learn more about each oth them and the different species there are. It's outside and weather permitting, so check the weather before you go! 
  • the rehabilitation complex where you'll witness the rehab work they do. You'll get a guided tour and get to know the birds who will soon be released. There are 9 aviaries which helps the birds practice to fly before being released!
  • the bird of prey watching tour trail, where you'll see 11 birds of prey that are all visible.
  • the bird of prey adaptations booth, learn more about the different characteristics that make bird of prey authentic predators.

There's also so many hiking trails to discover, where you'll get to dive in the beauty of nature. 

You can also have the opportunity to have your photo taken with one of the birds! It's perfectly safe and provides an amazing photo opportunity.

Do they have baby facilities?

Our main trails can be done with a stroller. Trails are in gravel, soil or lawn. We have a changing table in our family compost restroom and a microwave for feeding bottles.

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Chouette a voir!?

Snacks and frozen treats available with lots of picnic areas. Bring your lunch!

Any top tips when visiting?

During summer, don't forget your bug repellent, sunscreen, reusable water bottle, hat and good shoes to walk in hiking trails.
