Princess Diana Memorial Playground welcomes millions of visitors every year and what's better, it's free too! Kids will love to play, explore and run around the park as they let their imaginations soar.
The playground opened on the 30th June 2000 in memory of the late Princess Diana. It's located next to her Kensington Palace home and is a tribute to the princess.
The centrepiece of the park is the wooden pirate ship and there's a trail, teepees, a beach and play sculptures all around, with stunning trees and plants as the backdrop. There's plenty of seating too so the grownups can relax too.
The playground has also been designed to create an area for the less able children, so they can play too and provides areas to stimulate their physical, creative, social and educational development. It's inspired by the stories of Peter Plan and encourages imagination and learning whilst playing.
The park is very popular, so on busy days there will be a queue for entry so keep that in mind before you visit.
