Oxford Bus and Morris Motors Museum tells the story of bus and coach travel around Oxfordshire from over the last 130 years. Visitors will explore the preserved exhibits and delve into the diverse public transport history through the ages.
The museum contains around 40 vintage buses and coaches, including some unique ones, dating from 1913. The museum specialised in collecting, restoring and running buses and coaches that served the city.
The exhibits include a historic horse-drawn tram, motor buses, coaches, bus stops ticket machines, timetables, posters and uniform, plus lots of photos for you to look at and see how transport has developed over the years.
On the first and third Sundays from April until September you can take a free heritage bus ride.They also run lots of regular events throughout the year, including a classic car day where you'll see lots of vintage transport, not just buses!
