Mooragh Park

Mooragh Park offers a variety of activities for the whole family! It's a popular attraction for both visitors and residents with lots of things to do. From sports to gentle strolls and water activities it's a great day out if you wanted to get outside. 

The park itself has a range of leisure attractions, including water sports! The 12 acres boating lake has lots on offer, including canoeing, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding and much more!

You can hire the boats and head head out along or you can sign for a session which is led by one of the experienced instructors if you need some extra help. 

On dry land there are tennis courts, bowling green, BMX track and even a crazy golf course too, so see if you can challenge your family to a hole in one! There's also an extensive playground with slides, swings and frames and a special water play area which is great fun in the hot weather! 

There's also picnic areas and a cafe too if you wanted a snack and a rest from your activities! 

The park promenade is registered as a Dark Skies Site. There's plenty of interpretation boards too and it's a great place to see the Northern Lights on occasions. The crystal clear horizon on the North eastern coast means they can e seen from the island and it's an amaznig experience to enjoy!
