The Giant's Causeway is a world heritage site and you'll follow in the legendary footsteps of giants! There are over 40,000 basalt columns which were formed 60 million years ago and you'll see them up close!
The site has an interactive exhibition and audio guides in a variety of international languages and the experience reveals the story of the world-famous site. You can even join a guide tour to enjoy clifftop views and learn more about the history ans geology of the place.
You won't see a site like this anywhere on the planet! Walk along the stones and hear stories about the place - don't forget your camera either!
The Grand Causeway is the largest of the three rock outcrops. The Giant's Boot has a small path leading towards the sea where you'll find the boot itself. The wishing chair is a natural throne formed from an arranged set of columns and is open to everyone to enjoy!
The camel was turned to stone and lies along the bottom of the cliffs and is a basaltic dyke formed from cooling lava!
There are a number of clipptop trails where you can enjoy a great views of the rocks with coastal views. There's trails to suit every abilities and are all marked in red, blue, green or yellow.
The visitor centre has won many awards too and is well worth a visit!
There's a variety of wildlife too with rock pools, small insects and more so see what you can find in the area!
