Coton Manor is a peaceful ten acre garden with a 17th century manor house, constructed of mellow Northamptonshire stone. A it's landscaped on different levels, stroll through the a series of distinctive smaller gardens and flowing streams, fountains and ponds with family and friends. Beyond the confines of the garden, there is a magical five acre bluebell wood and a colourful wildflower meadow at its best in June & July. When it opens in March, all the special woodlanders like trilliums, varieties of anemone nemerosa, erythroniums, fritillaries, narcissus, primulas, brunnera, pulmonarias, lathyrus and so many more will be flowering. Walk around to view them all and learn about their flowering process! In sunnier parts of the garden the blossom of flowering cherries, magnolias and amelanchier make a wonderful show and signal the start of the tulip season.
The nursery has grown to meet the demand for high quality garden plants. Visit for free to see their wide selection of herbaceous perennials, grasses, tender plants and choice shrubs. Bulbs are available dry, from late summer, and potted, through the year. Their Garden School has also become popular with keen amateurs wishing to extend their gardening skill! They offer a few courses on a less formal basis so check their website for news if this interests you.
Overall, there is something to see for everyone at Coton Manor. As well as spending quality time with family, come on down to learn something new about their wide variety of flowers and plants and the history of the manor.
