The Blickling Estate has been at the heart of this North Norfolk community since the sixteenth century and is famous as the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of King Henry VIII.
One of the most imposing and complete country estates in Norfolk, and takes you on a journey through history. There are thousands of acres of woodlands and parklands to explore, formal gardens and the Jacobean mansion with Long Gallery Library.
The little ones will love exploring the estate, with lots of family friendly activities to do. There's lots of buggy friendly paths around the gardens and you can pick up a map from the visitor reception. You can bring your bikes too if you prefer to cycle around. You'll find plenty of areas to have a picnic in the garden, farmyard area or near the visitor reception.
During the Summer they hold their Summer of Play event. Kids can try everything from building dens, giant nests and digging in the play patch! You can even perform on the mini stage, listen to stories or just sit in a quiet space and have an ice-cream.
There's over 4,600 acres of woodlands and 55 acres of formal gardens to explore on a Summer days. You'll also find a cafe and shop selling lots of gifts for you.
