Aldershot Military Museum tells the story of faily life for both soldier and civilians and is house in the only surviving brick-built barrack blocks left in Aldershot.
Inside the museum, the history is told through vibrant collections within the original buildings. You can explore the site fully, admire the tanks, take on the assault cause and get involved in some hands on activities. They also hosts lots of family-friendly exhibitions and evens all year round.
The museum is a great place to visit with the whole family. You can take on the challenge at the World War Two inspired assault course and explore the tanks, personnel carriers and other military vehicles.
You can learn the basics on the driver training unit, take a ride in the replicat scout vehicle and spots the objects around the museum by using one of the activity sheets.
You can also grab a bite to eat and a drink in the cafe and browse the museum show for some military-themed books, toys and pocket money items.
