With lockdown restrictions easing, and after months of staying indoors, we can now see the country slowly opening up – with caution – allowing the anticipation of a family day out to once again filter into the home.
And we couldn’t be more excited!

One of the biggest draw-cards in the US, and a closure that really would have been felt on kids, especially if a trip was already in the diary.
Pending state approvals, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park plans to re-open July 17.
The Downtown Disney District will begin reopening July 9.
These re-opens will implement safety measures within the park, to ensure everyone can still have a magical day. Guests will undergo temperature screenings prior to entering the park, and they will also reduce capacity to enable physical distancing. They will also require mandatory face coverings for Cast Members.
Disney Hotels look to re-open July 23.
One of the most beautiful places in the US, Yellowstone National Park opened the Wyoming entrances May 18, and the Montana entrance June 1. Whilst there are limited services and facilities available within the park, you can still enjoy the breath-taking views and scenery as much as you like.

The home of Elvis Presley is open and ready to welcome visitors, where you can see the home of the King of Pop Music in all it’s glory.
Because of reduced capacity, it’s best to book your tickets online ahead of time. Make sure you buy your parking pass online ahead of time too, and take a card to use contactless payments.
The Guided Mansion tour will operate with 25% capacity. And with 200,000 sq ft of Elvis exhibits and attractions, you can enjoy the experience at your own pace, and in your own space.
Social distancing is enforced, and temperature checks will be required by all guests before enjoying your day.
With the excitement of SpaceX in recent weeks, kids might love to celebrate post-lockdown with a visit to where it all happened.
The Visitor Complex is now open, with of course safety measures in place, including encouraging advanced purchasing of tickets online ahead of your visit, and mandatory face coverings.
Employees will undergo temperature checks too.
Just in time to check out the Rocket Launch July 20, 2020! 9am ET – it will be quite a sight!
One of Los Angeles finest attractions, the Petersen Automotive Museum opened it’s doors Friday June 19, and we couldn’t be more excited!
As with the other attractions, the reopening comes with social distancing measures, mandatory face masks on all staff and guests, and navigation paths to lead you around the museum.
It’s worth noting that special exhibits that were on display before the lockdown have yet to be removed, so you can see see the “Reclaimed Rust: The James Hetfield Collection” and “Hollywood Vehicles of Science Fictions and Fantasy”
The Discovery Area for kids, however, has yet to open, and temporary opening hours are:
Wednesdays through Sundays 10am – 5pm.
