Maine Lobster Festival starts soon!

The Maine Lobster Festival is running from August 3rd to 7th, inclusive, you can experience food, fun, and all things lobster as 20,000lbs are enjoyed across the festival. The Maine (ha) focus of the festival is, of course, the Maine lobster.

You can tuck into this delicious meal with award-winning Cabot butter, as you look out at Penobscot Bay. Who could imagine anything else for August! Don't miss the Lobster Rolls in the Lobster Cafe, and there is a new Lobster Caesar Wrap and salad too! If you think you have what it takes, the Maine Lobster Festival Seafood Cooking Contest is back again!

Every year, those amateur chefs come from all over the world and compete for $525 in prize money.  The contest begins at 9 am on Friday 5th, and judging begins at 11:30 am. Try not to miss it! The festival also offers entertainment on the waterfront, arts and crafts for those creative kiddies, and of course the crowning of Miss Maine Sea Goddess - you won't want to miss that! Get those bibs ready - you're about to have a CRACKING time!
