It's all happening at Zoo Atlanta, so get ready for a WILD family day out!
Zoo Atlanta is where kids can meet animals from all over the world! Not only that, the whole family can enjoy a host of other fun activities during your time at this popular Georgia attraction!
Before we get to the animals, let's explore those!
There are kids activities that range from interactive to engaging mystery hunts, storybook reading and even grooving like their favorite animals!
With playgrounds, STEM Sundays and Vet Academy, the fun just keeps on giving!
Kids can take a ride on the Endangered Species Carousel, scale new heights on the rock wall, or choo choo choo to spend some time on the Zoo Train! There is even a Splash Fountain and Treetop Trail!
Phew! With all that fun, is there even time to see the animals? Of course there is! And what amazing animals they are.
Kids can imagine they are on the plains of Africa as they see the African lion up close, or the grand African elephant stride. There are cheeky colobus monkeys, impressive giant tortoise, and the very cute black and white ruffed lemur!
The animals are also a great way for kids to learn about conservation, when they hear the stories of the orangutan and clouded leopard, and see them first hand.
From the tiny tamarins, slithering snakes, adorable giant panda to even the common domestic sheep, Zoo Atlanta is animal fun for ALL, no matter if it's the creatures great or small that take your fancy!
