What is there to do?

It's all about learning through play at the Zimmer Children's Museum! It's at this museum JUST for kids that you will find 10,000 sq ft of discovery-based exhibits, and over 20 classes and FREE public programs every week!

All of the exhibits focus on unstructured play, and also encourage physical play, use of imagination and allows kids to just be kids!

Those creative thespians can take to the stage in the Mann Theater and start a show with friends. There's Etch-A-Sketch fun, as well as Discovery Airport where kids can learn the fly planes and land them near and far!

Kids can learn to be heroes as they fight fires and rescue people, or animal lovers can gravitate towards Healthy Farm where they are cute play animals waiting, and "greenspace" to be enjoyed!

The cafe allows kids to serve up delicious foods, and they can dream big on the Wishing Wall where they write up whatever those minds can think of that they want in life! Anything at all!

The museum is also dedicated to teaching people about the BIG IDEAS of global citizenship, community responsibility, and cultural sensitivity, and to promote values that help make a better society through interactive learning, creative self-expression and art experiences.

Sounds a pretty cool learning experience to us!

A fun museum JUST for kids, the Zimmer Children's Museum is all about allowing kids to become the best selves that they can be! Are you ready to get started?

The museum is located in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles. We inhabit two levels of the Jewish Federation Goldsmith Center on the north side of Wilshire Blvd just east of the San Vicente intersection. There is no exterior sign for the museum. Limited visitor parking is free and located in our adjacent lot just west of the building. Meters and street parking are available on Wilshire and nearby side streets.

Can I get one of those?

Take a piece of the museum home with you! They have fun and educational toys, games and books (starting at 50 cents for field trip participants). Plus if you become a member and get 15% off every purchase!

Need a little extra help?

There is an elevator located in the building lobby. All of our exhibits are designed to allow for wheelchair accessibility.
