The Ybor City Museum State Park is a historical museum within an urban park, right in the heart of Ybor's National Historic Landmark District.

Even the surroundings highlight the city's history, before you even walk in. The main exhibit space is housed in the historic Ferlita Bakery building, and you can explore a recreated cigar worker's house.

Kids, when you visit you will come to learn why cigars play such an important role within the history of the city!

During your time at the Ybor City Museum State Park, you can enjoy a guided tour through the park with one of the very knowledgable park rangers. Then, you can move on to explore the many exhibits within the museum. 

Here, you can learn all about the immigrants who settled, lived and built the thriving community.

There are permanent exhibits within the museum that cover a range of topics, including the story of the founders of Ybor City, and what life was like in the cigar factories. Kids can learn all about the various cultures that influenced the city, and how the town grew.

The museum is also home to a number of temporary exhibits, so you can always go back and see something new!

Make sure you spend some time enjoying your own walking tour through the Ybor City Historic District too, so you can imagine all the people, sights and sounds that would have been around over 100 years ago.
