About this activity

Choo Choo - it's time to climb aboard because at the Winterwalk Train Display and Shop, there are a host of fun train models that those locomotive kids will enjoy!

Located in Ashland, the Winterwalk Train Display and Shop took FIVE years to create - so you can imagine the amount of detail that you will see! The owner, Jack, started collecting trains 25 years ago, and since then it's grown into the great family day out that you can experience today!

There are six different rooms that you can explore, and each one has a different theme, which kids will love! You can visit an Amusement Park, with fun animated rides and booths - and don't miss the roller coaster too!

The parents will love the 50s room, with a fun display of a little town that is JUST like the 1950s! Kids - how different do you think it looks like to what you're used to today? There is even an operating McDonalds - look closely!

Ashland goes miniature when you can see a small ABA parade and Mother's Memorial, and 'tis the season to be jolly with the Polar Express and the Old Fashioned Christmas! There are trolleys, and even ice skating!

Roll Up, Roll Up....and finally the circus is in town! You can check out the flying balloons as just some of the hand made accessories on show.

The level of detail is great at the Winterwalk Train Display and Shop is amazing, so really take your time and enjoy it! Choo Choo - all aboard!
