About this activity
It's history AND water fun all rolled into one at Venetian Pool in Miami!
Dating back to 1923, this aquatic facility is unlike any other in the country - which makes it pretty special indeed! It's even one of the main tourist attractions for families visiting Coral Gables, so why not join them!
The pool was created from a coral rock quarry, where you can even see much of the original coral rock that was used to border the pool. The Venetian Pool is located in a stunning area, so it makes sense to have two large historic lookout towers too that give you great views!
Did you know that the pool water here is fed with spring water from an underground aquifer? Pretty cool, right? Over spring and summer, the pool is filled and drained daily!
If that wasn't cool enough, the pool even has two waterfalls that are super fun for the kids to see, as well as the cave-like grottos that are always popular to explore!
The Venetian Pool is water fun with a difference, and is something that all kids that love to make a splash should experience. It feels like you are lost in the depths of Europe, surrounded by history.
With 820,000 gallons to swim in, you'll certainly get a lot out of your day!

Venetian Pool FAQ’s
There is a concessions menu at the cafe that can fill those rumbling stomachs! They are closed weekdays until Memorial Day, but offer sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, ice cream, curly fries, and drink! YUM!
Once the pool has reached maximum capacity, it will cease sales. re-entry is prohibited once the pool is closed for admission sales.
Just give them a call to ask about the accessibility of the pool - they will be happy to help!
The pool isn't open to children under 3 years, and under 38". If they are under 38" but over 3 years, please take a proof of age.
