History comes back to life at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum in Michigan! The aim of this popular museum is to collect, preserve, display and interpret the cultural and historic records of Northwest Ottawa County. There are three floors of experiences and exhibits within the museum, displayed in a way that allows you to orient the past with the present. You'll find a combination of permanent exhibits, as well as temporary exhibits, so if you want to go back, there can be something new to see!

All of the exhibits tell a story. Kids can learn about the Native American contribution to the fur trade, as well as learning about the lives of early settlers as well as industry, commerce and daily life.

Kids can also experience what life was really like in the 20th century, with an authentically recreated soda fountain to highlight one of Grand Haven's largest industries in the past, as well as a 1920s doctors office, and a display of early medical tools!
