Within the bright lights of Vegas is a magical place perfect for the budding knights and maidens in your family. The Tournament of Kings dinner show at the Excalibur Hotel is a great family friendly option during your stay in Vegas. Adapted from the tale of the mighty King Arthur and his round table, this action packed live production is probably the last true dinner show in the city.
Taking your thrones in the impressive 900 seat “theater-in-the-round”, you will be drawn into a world of maidens, victory, knights, jousting, and treachery. The children will love seeing the colorful and realistic costumes on both the performers and the horses, the special effects and pyrotechnics will dazzle and impress, and the overall quality of the production won’t go un-noticed.
It really will keep you on the edge of your seats...sorry, thrones...until the very end. Will King Arthur get his maiden? Well, you will just have to go and watch! Tournament of Kings Dinner really will bring out the inner child in all the parents, and leave the kids feeling like they could take on any dragon filled world.
A hearty and delicious three course meal fit for a king is served in the true tradition and spirit of medieval times, and to really win your kids over they can eat with their fingers! (you too Mum and Dad!)
The Excalibur Hotel, where the Tournament of Kings dinner show is held, is located on the corner of Tropicana Ave and the “Strip” aka Las Vegas Blvd. There is also direct access if you’re coming in from the I-15.

There are two ticketing options when it comes to the food. If you purchase the General Admission ticket, this will allow you to indulge in the finger fun of the three course meal. If you purchase the Dinnerless Admission ticket, then make sure you grab something to eat before hand as there won’t be any refreshments available.
The show does feature horses, pyrotechnics and strobe lights and guests will be seated quite close to the action, so anyone sensitive to these should take extra care. Also, remember that you won’t be provided with utensils so you will get messy, so perhaps stash a few extra wipes in your bags!
What Vegas dinner show would be complete without the option to take home a variety of fun souvenirs - shot glasses, mugs, t-shirts, keychains just to name a few options, and what child wouldn’t want to walk away with their own play sword to continue their medieval journey at home.
Full menu options can be seen on their website but for those health conscious knights they do offer a gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, and nut allergy conscious menu options, and there are contact details at the bottom of the menu link with contact details should you need to discuss any additional requirements. You will be well looked after!
Why of course kind sir! There is disability seating available in the arena, which can be accessed via the elevators nearby.
