The Tioga Central Railroad is a great way for kids to experience locomotive travel, and explore some of the most scenic spots in Pennsylvania. There are a number of excursions to choose from, so not only can you ensure you pick ones perfect for your family, you can ensure you experience something different when you want to go back again!

The Tioga Central Railroad is located in Wellsboro, and operates charter and excursion trains across a 34 mile track. Make sure you watch out for the local wildlife too! There certainly is plenty of it!

All of the trains are air-conditioned, and heated (except the Open Air Car), so you will have a comfortable trip as well as exciting!

The Lake Shore Express will take the family on a trek to a gorgeous Lake in the Tioga countryside - Lake Hammond. Over 90 minutes explore 24 miles of beautiful Pennsylvania!

Kids - you will LOVE this one! During summer you can enjoy the train ride, AND an ice cream sundae in a souvenir cup, along with all of your favorite toppings. It's the perfect way to spend time with the family and cool off on those hot summer nights!

For more food fun, you can enjoy the Lakeshore Lunch trip from May to October, with lunch options from chicken salad, to beef pot pit and meatball lasagne. Yum!

Sunset views are waiting for you on the Sunset Dinner Excursion, where you can watch the sun go down on the Pennsylvania horizon. What a great way to send a special day!
