About this activity

Fancy spending your next family day out in, oh we don't know - how about one of the world's LARGEST most innovative wildlife conservation centers?

You'd be headed to The Wilds then!

The Wilds is set on nearly 10,000 acres in southeast Ohio (which is pretty huge!) and it is home to rare and endangered species from around the world. Here these amazing creatures live in a natural, open-range habitat, and not only that, The Wilds is also home to hundreds of indigenous species too.

The best way to see the animals and experience The Wilds is on their Safari Tour. Here, you just pre-book your time, then jump on the safari bus and get those cameras ready! You'll be taken by the knowledgable guides through the large open-range animal areas, where you can see rhinos, giraffes, and a host of other rare and endangered animals.

What's great about this setting is that it's natural, and so you're not witnessing animals in cages.  The open-air vehicle stops at the Lake Trail, and the Carnivore Center, and takes about 2 hours.

Don't forget before or after your tour, you can visit the market, or the cafe, or check out the Butterfly Habitat!

It's a day surrounded by swans, cranes, African painted dogs, cheetahs, oryx, zebra, deer, takin, rhino....it's a day you won't be forgetting in a LONG time!
