Our family was in LA for my husbands family reunion. From the beginning I should have known something was wrong. We left our home in TX at 6:30 pm, I started calling the hotel at around 7:30 to try and make a reservation for the night. I called for over 3 hours with no answer at all. the VM message kept saying the mailbox I was calling was full and to try later. I finally called the toll free number and made the reservation with them. The lady on the phone was great, she told me to make sure I call them and let them know we would be a late arrival. I tried again to call and 2 more hours, still NO ANSWER. I called the toll free number again and ask the lady to try the number, she did and she got no answer as well. At 1:30, a man finally answered the phone and confirmed our room was still available. When we arrived at the hotel, I walked up to the door and rang the door bell, it took the man over 6 minutes to come down the stairs and when he did, he was tucking in his shirt which tells me why he wasn’t answering the phone, he was sleeping. He pointed to the night window and I walked over there and he pointed to my wallet and said nothing but “ID”, so I handed him my ID and he looked at it and , had he had any type of customer service, or even any type of personality at all, he would have asked my name and I could have told him the RESV was in another name than mine. He finally asked me my name and I put the cash under the window and he snatched it pushed the towel back under the window. I seen him do his thing and came and gave me my room key with no thank you, no room direction, no nothing. We get to our room and guess what? WRONG ROOM TYPE. I walked back up to the desk, rang the bell because he was gone again. I called the RESV line and she answered and confirmed my room was for 2 double beds. Four minutes later he comes down stairs grabs the towel from under the window and I told him that he gave me the wrong room type. He proceeds to raise his voice at me and say he gave me what I booked. I told him I had the reservation lady on the phone and she confirmed what I wanted. He still argued, which was actually a surprise, I didn’t think he could talk at all, I told him I wanted to see the print out and he shoved it under the window, I looked at it and took a pen and circled the part that says 2DBLNS, He does not say he is sorry or offer any kind of admission that he screwed up, just keys a new key card, shoves it under the glass and stuffs the towel back under it.I had planned on complaining to the manager the next morning, but the same grumpy old man was there, I asked for a receipt, we paid cash, and he tells me I paid cash so I don’t need one. I slammed my key down and demanded a receipt and his name, he wasn’t wearing a name tag, probably to uncomfortable to sleep in, he gave me a receipt and refused to give me his name.It is very sad considering the room was fantastic and the rate was great. I will NEVER stay at a hotel that allows their employees to treat guest this way.

Horrible service and price. This area has a shortage of decent hotel rooms so that explains the price. They say truck parking but it does not connect to the main parking lot had to back two vehicles with car trailers on to a busy four lane road hoping not to get hit. Avoid this place
