What is there to do?

How does going back about 100 years to the Wild West sound?  If you fancy spending the day with the infamous W.F “Buffalo Bill” Cody, then we hope you have your trusty steed ready!

The Buffalo Bill Historical Center captures the true essence of the American West, and the life of Buffalo Bill.  Myth and legend?  Or true decide.  The five museums within the centre cover all aspects of the American Frontier during the time of Buffalo Bill - from the plants and wildlife around Yellowstone Country, to the intricate and fascinating cultures and traditions of the Northern Plains Indian people.  There is even an extensive firearm gallery showcasing firearms across history.

The main museum is that of Buffalo Bill - did you know he was a showman, townfounder, and even an actor!?  Here you can really experience life on the dude ranch as an American cowboy.

The Plains Indian Museum is an important outlet to learn about the history of America - here the lives of the Plains Indian are really brought to life!  Crawl into a teepee, discover what they used to wear, and make....and how they lived their lives out on the often dangerous plains.

The design of the museums are fun, yet spot on in capturing what life would have been like on the final frontier.

Think you would have been able to handle it!?  Well, try standing face to face with a family of Bison, or learning exactly how tough life was out in the late 19th century!  We dare you!
