Visit the house where the legend was born!
Get all shook up in Tupelo, Mississippi at the Birthplace of Elvis Presley. It's here at this little house back in 1935 where the future King of Rock & Roll began his musical journey.
Elvis Presley was one of the greatest entertainers that ever lived, so it's a fascinating experience to come to such a small, humble home and see where he began. It can inspire kids to know that no matter their past, their future can be anything!
The house itself is a two-room abode built by his father, grandfather and uncle. Whilst Elvis moved out of this house when he was just a few years old as his father couldn't afford the payments on it, you can still feel his energy here, knowing you are somewhere pretty special.
There are two types of admission you can choose from when you visit the Birthplace of Elvis Presley. One admission allows you entry to just the house. The other is the "Grand Tour" where you can visit the museum and the church too.
The church is impressive to visit, because it's the actual building Elvis and his family used to worship at, and it's been moved over to the area so you can experience it for yourselves.
It was in these walls that Elvis was exposed to gospel music, and where he learnt to play the guitar.
The museum could be on your stop too, with audiovisual presentations, artifacts and even a replica of the Presley family car that they drove when leaving Tupelo!
A fascinating, eye opening and historic experience in Mississippi, where the King of Rock N Roll lives again!
