Tour the habitats and trails. See the Redwood Grove, the Oak Woodland, Wildflower Meadows, Pond and Riparian habitats. Watch migratory birds as they visit and feed on seeds from the native plants. Watch the squirrels and rabbits as they play in the brush. We invite you to visit us and experience nature.

Shipley Nature Center FAQ’s

The goal of Shipley Nature Center is to educate the public about keeping nature in an urban setting. Demonstration gardens show which plants attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The Waterwise garden has a diplay of California Natives which are drought tolerant and attractive for home gardens.

Docent led tours are available for preschool and up. Advance registration is required. A fee of $3 per person is charged. Call 714-842-4772 to reserve a tour.
