What is there to do?

Now doesn't that sound like a pretty amazing family day out?

There are two floors of science-tastic experiences to explore at the Science Museum of Western Virginia - are you excited to hear about some now?

What if we told you that you can interact with Virginia geological specimens, or become an on-air meteorologist in the weather studio? You can even augment mountains and make it rain!

Kids can learn about healthy bodies as they send foam "blood cells" racing through arteries, and see what lies beneath skin in a "plastinated" human with REAL human organs!

WonderLab invites guests of all ages to learn the basics of programming or coding in an open learning environment, or experience larger than life version of toys, wth HUGE Lego, and HUGE building blocks, and a Colossal Kaleidoscope!

You can uncover how things work as you explore the scientific method of engineering, and even experience an amazing gravity-driven obstacle course, and preschoolers will be in their element in a multisensory play space designed for those under 5 years, with toys, games, books and plenty of places to play!

Don't miss the outdoor fun with the butterfly habitat either!

We told you that science IS fun, so are you ready to experience it for yourselves?
