About this activity

Are you ready for a challenge? Yes? How about taking on the LARGEST man-made outdoor climbing adventure in the entire WORLD!

That's right - Sandy Spring Adventure Park is forest challenges for those family members over 5 years who want to test their skills, balance, coordination, and determination!

The Adventure Forest is made up of 13 trails, which cover 6 levels of difficulty. These trails between them have 29 zip lines, and nearly 200 challenge bridges that link the platforms!

At the centre of Sandy Spring Adventure Park is the main platform. This is like the peak of a ski mountain. Once you make your way up the ladder onto this platform, there are 13 different trails which head off into the tree tops.

Each of these trails are color coded by it's difficulty level, so you can make sure you are on the right trail for your level of experience.

If you are a natural, you might be able to complete 2 to 4 trails in your three hour climbing session.

The Monkey Grove is a new way to climb a tree with 10 trees each with their own climbing challenge, and The Labyrinth is an amazing structure made up of over 40 elements of mixed difficulty to keep you on your toes!

Kids over 7 years are allowed to tackle the trails, but those little adventurers over 5 years can climb The Labyrinth with an adult.

The trails at Sandy Spring Adventure Park are a great way for kids to stay active, build confidence, develop skills and really see themselves improving with every challenge completed.
