The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is an amazing place for kids who visit who love fun, interactive exhibits that can teach them all about science and nature - through play and experimentation!
The Perot Museum has 11 permanent exhibit halls that are spread over 5 floors, plus a special travelling exhibit gallery. Each of the exhibits are highly educational yet bundles of fun, so the whole family can enjoy this experience! They also each cover something fascinating, so you learn something new every time you head to a new one!
The Moody Family Children’s Museum within the main site offers it's own range of galleries for under 5s and their families, including an indoor forest, roleplay environments, art play area and physical play structure. They can explore nature and even become a junior wildlife biologist, discover Dallas and use their imagination to become a vendor or customer in the local farmers market, or even dig for dinosaurs!
The Discovering Life exhibit lets kids take an indoor nature walk and discover everything from single-cell organisms to complete ecosystems. There are exhibits on pretty and colorful gems and minerals, and the Being Human Hall allows children to really understand how the human body works.
From single-cell organisms to the entire cosmos, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science has the Expanding Universe Hall where your education will certainly expand and you experience all things space!
The museum also has a number of programs designed for different age groups - including fun sleep overs and Discovery Days!
