Love animals? Yes? Then of course it makes sense to spend your family day out surrounded by those adorable creatures!
North Georgia Zoo and Petting Farm is home to over 400 animals, so there are plenty of animal encounters to be had with the family. Of these 400 animals, there are over 100 breeds of rare and miniature livestock, so kids will be able to experience a diverse collection to learn about, and have fun with!
They love teaching everyone who visits all about these amazing creatures. From the reclusive reptiles, to the friendly farm animals, to even some carnivores, the North Georgia Zoo will also inform kids on how they protect these animals too. An invaluable lesson!
The North Georgia Zoo like to offer more options than a regular zoo, so you can really fit them into what YOU want. There are close encounters and personal interaction experiences, as well as just general admission which still allows you to feed those miniature and rare breed farm animals!
There are Camel Encounters and cart/hay rides, as well as guided wildlife walks, where for around an hour you can learn all about some impressive wild animals, such as the fox, alligator, kangaroo, lemur, and even snakes.
If you're brave, you can always try out the reptile encounter, where you can TOUCH a range of snakes, tortoise, and bugs! Be brave!
