Space! It's that fascinating area all around us which draws us in, with it's amazing stars, beautiful galaxies and that big unknown.

We're lucky that these days families can really get a better understanding of this amazing wonder, thanks to the NASA INFINITY Science Center - a fascinating and educational place to bring the kids for the day. Their award winning visitors center has exciting new exhibits and fun state shows for the family.

It's great for kids to experience too! They can feel like an astronaut as they test a space shuttle main engine! Have you ever wondered what it was like aboard the International Space Station, or even to land a space shuttle? At this NASA fuelled space center - they can feel like they are really heading out into space! 

The INFINITY Science Center is 72,000 square feet of amazing discovery where there are fun outdoor exhibits like the MASSIVE F-1 rocket engine, as well as a tsunami buoy. 

Inside, the kids will be greeted by an Apollo 13 astronaut before they start their day of fun!

They take take journey through Science On A Sphere where they can explore the tracks of hurricanes, or really get up close to the surface of the sun.

The Space Gallery lets them look to the stars, and really discover how space travel has evolved in the past half century. Kids can even hear all about what the plans are for the future!

There is even a free public bus tour of the nearby Stennis Space Center - somewhere the general public can't go! An amazing guided tour!

NASA Infinity Science Center FAQ’s

The science center are all about educating those who visit on the amazing space discoveries that have been made. They will continue to add exhibits as science learns more!

The cafe is open 11am - 3pm, and is a great way to break up the day to recharge - just like the rockets would have!

Tours depart Monday to Saturday at 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Included in your admission!

There of course is a gift shop where you can pick up amazing items and educational pieces - from clothing, books and mini rockets!

They love having students at the center! There are programs which include simulators, and pre-ordered lunch can be arranged. Call to reserve!

There are plenty of healthy options to pick from at the cafe. They don't allow outside food or drink in the cafe.

They do summer camps too!
