The interactive science center is a huge two stories high, and is filled with interactive exhibits for kids to discover, experience with, and learn from!

Not only that, the Museum of Life and Science is home to one of the largest butterfly houses on the East Coast, and who doesn't love seeing those gorgeous colorful creatures fluttering by?

Love animals? This Durham museum is also home to over 60 species of LIVE animals, so you can really enjoy a WILD family day out in North Carolina!

The Museum of Life and Science was created to give kids a way to actually enjoy science, and see how wonderful it is!

The Hideaway Woods exhibit is outdoor fun showing nature in a whole new light, with play zones that encourage kids to flex their bodies and their imaginations, sometimes 20ft off the ground!

Go back millions of years on dinosaur trail, where the late Cretaceous period comes to life. Grab a shovel and search for real fossils (including shark teeth!), and feel what a dinosaur skin might have felt like!

So much hands-on fun at the Museum of Life and Science, your kids will want to come back again and again. Parents, you might just learn some cool stuff too!
