Do you just love getting out into the countryside and having a great time outdoors? The Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art is an educational and interactive experience for kids, and a great way to either introduce them to the art world, or fuel their passion for it.
As well as changing exhibitions that bring to life artists and their work from the past, they offer fun, creative and sometimes messy programs perfect for kids. Who said art was clean fun!?
There are fascinating print making session where the whole family can learn screen and block printing techniques, and experiment with colors, forms and shapes. On a lovely sunny day you can even take your creative juices outside into Toby's Plaza!
Every Thursday evening they hold The Beat UPTOWN social programs where you family can be entertained by fun and funky live music, indulge in the nearby food trucks and get hands on in the interactive art experiences.
For the little Monet's and Picasso's under 10 years of age in the family, keep and eye out for the free ArtSquad Plays Workroom (the first Saturday of every month) where they can get creative with their hands and imagination through activities, books, and games with the crazy fun ArtSquad characters of Beauregard and Cherry! What a great way to start the month!

This is located just in the Uptown District, north of University Circle.
The closest RTA stop is Little Italy-University Circle on the red line, and the Healthline Rapid Transit Buses run along Euclid Avenue between downtown Cleveland and University Circle. Already in University Circle? A free Circlelink shuttle busserves the major destinations in University Circle. There are bike racks located outside of the Museum on Toby’s Plaza at Case Western Reserve University.
Metered parking is available along Euclid Ave and Ford Drive, alternatively you can park in the garages in the University Circle district.
