The high price seems to be because of the lobby and the view from the restaurant, because the rooms are $100/night rooms max. The built-in heating/ cooling/ ventilation system just made a bunch of noise but did not work, there was a family of spiders under or on the bed, and they don’t have complimentary breakfast. The Microtel Inn was much better. The Millennium Lakefront seems to “window dress” everything to make it look better than it actually is.

Every time I go to Anchorage (at least once a year, February or August) I stay here. The hotel is amazing, the people who work there are amazing, the food at the restaurant is amazing. The hallways kind of remind me of The Shining but in a fun way. Love this place.

This hotel is in very bad shape. Carpet is stained throughout, window a/c with a fan in the ceiling to circulate air, rooms musty. Front entrance is closed for repairs. Supposed to be getting a remodeling. Would not stay here.

Nnneeerrrvvvoouusss. I have been in the millenium care for 2 hours, so far they left me on hold at the airport courtesy phone for 10 minutes, while waiting to ask for a shuttle, it took an hour for the shuttle to arrive, the first room they gave us was not clean, the second room is right outside the garbage area (smells a little), the restaurant let us stand puzzled for 5 minutes before someone informed us they stopped serving and to go to the bar. At the bar, again no immediate service. Nice place, nice view – staff has no direction, no cohesive customer service, needs a management overhaul.
