Are you ready to monkey around on your next family day out? Great, because we're off to Monkey Jungle! Can you hear the excitement already?

Monkey Jungle is home to nearly 400 primates, most running free on a 30 acre reserve. In fact, it is one of the few protected habitats for endangered primates in the United States and the ONLY one that the general public can explore. Sounds pretty fun to us!

There are a number of exhibits and experiences that you can enjoy during your time at this very cheeky zoo. Why not start your day exploring the Java Macaques, who are native to southeast Asia? At Monkey Jungle they live in a 7-acre forest very similar to what they would experience in their natural environment.

The Cameroon Gorilla Forest introduces you to the King of the Jungle, or you might want to see what it's like in the semi-natural tropical rainforest in Amazonia - in fact the ONLY one of it's kind in North America? 

Here, the monkeys roam as they please, with no direct control by humans. You can observe them much as they would be in the wild!

It's not just the primates at Monkey Jungle either. At Wings of Love some beautiful and colorful birds are housed in a free-flight environment

Within all of these enclosures, you can check out daily presentations where keeper can tell you all about these amazing creatures, and what makes them special. 

Also within the enclosures are threatened and endangered species, so kids can learn all about conservation, and why it's so important to look after our planet and animals. An invaluable lesson!
