The Mission Inn Museum has a collection, which shows the periods of the Mission Inn development. Did you know that it actually started as a boarding house all the way back in 1876?

A man named Frank Miller was the original owner of the inn, and he was an avid collector of art from all across the globe. He was also a marketing genius, an avid art collector and a great part of the community. It was actually the Miller family that played a vital role in the development of Riverside itself!
The Mission Inn offer tours for the family that last 75 minutes. These walking tours are led by a trained docent, and can tell you and your family all about the architecture, history and art of this historic inn.
Want to know what's really cool? While you're on the tour, you will actually see parts of the inn that are normally inaccessible to the general public!
