The Miracle of America Museum and Pioneer Village has interesting exhibits on, well...just that! The Miracle of America. It's a great museum for kids to explore and get really hands on with some of the displays, and really great for their imagination. They can play teacher and student in a real school room - how does it differ from yours today? They can play in a real helicopter and run around real airplanes, looking at them close up, as well as getting hands on with a steam engine!
What did you do to get yourself into trouble now!? No wait, you're just in the pretend jail! Phew! The museum is probably the only place you can escape jail and run straight into a space ship hidden in area 51. What can you see in there?
The Miracle of America Museum and Pioneer Village also hold educational and fun Live History Days, which occur on the 3rd weekend in July. This event offers some fascinating opportunities to watch real craftsmen try their hand at tasks those from years before would have used in their everyday lives, such as spinning and blacksmithery.

Bring your camera! There are many photo opportunities which you won't want to miss out on. Also, if you are bringing a stroller or wheelchair, its worth noting the outside is gravely so wide wheels might work better.
There are a range of fun toys, fascinating books and some beautiful glassware and jewelry available to purchase at the museum.
If you have a specific interest, period in time or a key person in American history, the museum can tailor a lecture specific for your needs. A great hands on learning experience.

Regular sized wheelchairs and walkers are available for free at the museum if needed. Some buildings have ramps, but some in Pioneer Village have 1 -3 steps so please ask for assistance upon arrival. . Restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
