About this activity
We’re Family Fun that will Bowl you over. From 3 to 103, bowling is for all ages. Bowling is the perfect group activity and a great way to spend time socializing and team building. We have 40 bowling lanes, lots of arcade games, party rooms and a sports bar & grill. Mel’s Lone Star Lanes is a prime place for any group event, birthday party or family event. We can cater your event big or small.
Mel’s Lone Star Lanes offers fully automated scoring, bumper bowling for children on every lane, an outstanding snack bar.CJ's Sport Bar & Grill offers lounge seating on the bowling lanes, billiards, shuffle board and a full service restaurant for your enjoyment.Leagueoptions include co-ed, ladies, senior citizen, youth, PBA and company sponsored leagues.

North of Round Rock and the Greater Austin Area, Mel’s Lone Star Lanes is located at:1010 N. Austin Ave. in Georgetown.
We are directly across from San Gabriel Park and the Georgetown Recreational Center.
Driving north on IH35, take the 261A exit.
Driving south on IH35, take the 262 exit

Mels Lone Star Lane FAQ’s
We have high chairs, baby changing station.
Full service sports bar & grill, sodas, slushies, 300 beer club (adults only), hamburgers, pizzas, kid’s meals and more! Order you food and they’ll bring it out to your lane. Eat and bowl at the same time!
We have a bowling pin soda cup. Every time you come back you’ll receive $1 refills. Available for $10.
We have a bowling pin piggy bank that says “Happy Birthday” for $12. Have your kid’s friends sign the pin and have it as a souvenir.
We offer discounted group rates for field trips along with educational tours. Contact the events department at 512-930-2200.
