Parents, allow us to introduce you to the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center. It's a place that YOU will love because you can play and interact along with your kids, and they will be learning, so it's a win-win! Kids will love it because they just get to play all day with super fun, interactive exhibits and not realize they are learning!

The Louisiana Children's Discovery Center is great for those kids under 12 years, as well as their families. It's a place that has been created for everyone to learn together, have fun together, in their open and interactive areas.

It's so much more than just a museum! 

Are you ready to hear about some of the amazing exhibits that you can explore at the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center? Great! Because here we go!

The Crane Command is filled with fun and gross motor activities that will build the self confidence and coordination of all the kids who explore it. It's a fun multi-level, open framed "crane" that kids can actually feel like they are on a construction site! They can transport lightweight foam bricks, collect them and move them all around the site in super fun wheelbarrows. They can raise them with pulleys too! So not only are they developing skills, but they are also learning all about science!

Let's not forget that they can slide, crawl and hide all through the exhibit too! 

There is an Ambulance that kids can learn all about the City of Hammond emergency service, and even role play the siren sounds and transport a patient! 

Love flying? You don't need to be outside to do that! Just head to the Hot Air Balloon exhibit where you get the adventure of flying without ever leaving the ground!
