You will be transported from the meeting point to the river and back again in a Los Rios vehicle. Please do not leave any valuables in your car or in our vehicle as we cannot be responsible for security.

Meeting place for Taos Box, Middle Box and overnight trips

From the south, on Highway 68:
Driving north into Taos, pass Taos Drums on your left. Pass Camino de Golondrina on your right. Turn right on the next dirt road signposted Old Highway 68, exactly at mile marker 40. Turn left into the first driveway.

From Taos and points north, Angel Fire, Red River, and Mora:

rafting the rio grandeCome into Taos and go south on Highway 68. Pass the Ranchos de Taos post office and the famous San Francisco de Asis church on your left. The speed limit signs will go up: 40, 45, 50. Look on your left for the big Los Rios sign. Turn left on the next dirt road signposted Old Highway 68, exactly at mile marker 40. Turn left into the first driveway.

They provide snacks of chips and salsa, fresh fruit, and cookies on the half day trips, except for the Sunset Dinner raft where you get to tuck into delicious meals including steak, tofu, quesadilla, mashed potatoes and of course dessert! Full day and over night trips offer more substantial meals

Before you book, check all the information on the tours from the website, as they list minimum age, equipment and kit they provide and what you will need, as well as departure times. That way you can really make the best decision on what is best for you!

It's always a good idea to take healthy snacks and bottled water with you just in case!

Their trips require varying degrees of fitness, so you must consider the mental and physical capacities of your family when choosing the trip
