Huge theater with around 3000 seats. The home of the Oscars is a stunner for a reason. I came here for a film screening and the sound and image were pretty good. Ushers can be hit or miss. My friend had a very stand-offish usher but I had polite, efficient usher.

Amazing venue, originally build specifically to host the Oscars with different levels to be used for different stages of the Oscar show and having people move from one area to another fast and efficiently. You can find history displayed with in the lobby area where they have images of classic films and if you notice behind them you can see what use to be an actual movie screen reflecting light back towards the image been displayed. Behind the stage they have several passageways to accommodate performers coming in and out of the area as well as the different decorative props been in used as well as other areas leading off to press rooms to accommodate for interviews and other related media The sound system is one-of-a-kind with the DOLBY ATMOST giving you the most advance and top quality sound around in the sound industry.Parking can be a bit hard, there is a parking structure located at the Hollywood and highland center that leads up to the Dolby theatre just keep in mind that the parking is shared with the entire Hollywood and Highland complex so you might need to plan ahead to arrive to your show on time.Very amazing place, lots of history can be seen with in the modern and luxurious classy venue

AMAZING, beautiful place to see. But to watch anything here is kinda “Meh”. It’s big, you can’t see much from the balcony for example, and the prices are always expensive…

This is where they host Oscar ceremony for many years. Located next to the Chineses Theatre in Hollywood. Nice facility. Lots of tourists around. We went for a concert performed by Jonathan Lee, a famous Taiwanese song writer and singer. Had a great time. Parking is a bit expensive. But this is Hollywood, what can you say!

Beautiful venue. I too will agree with another reviewer in saying that it is classy. I had the great fortune of having seen the process of this venue getting build to its first performance more than 13 years ago; and then everything in between including an LA city council meeting, a play, concerts, and one of the Cirques. The area surrounding The Dolby is always congested, therefore, give yourself some extra time to get to the venue.
