Love art? Great, because we're off to Kidspace at MASS MoCA on our next family day out! Kidspace is an interactive art gallery and studio designed especially for children that presents exhibitions and educational experiences in collaboration with leading artists.
Because they are all aimed at children the exhibits are almost universally visually impactive or sensorily stimulating, with appropriate themes and simplified concepts, which is great!
The programs focus on contemporary social issues and expanding the notions of art, so kids can learn AND be creative!
The range of exhibits varies and evolves so return visits are just as much fun for kids as the first time.
When you have finished at Kidspace, why not enter MASS MoCA itself? The older kids can continue their love of art and be inspired by the amazing collection that is waiting for them.
A fun and FREE program for creative kids!
Located on the second floor of MASS MoCA at 87 Marshall Street in North Adams, Massachusetts.
