About this activity

Kahua Ranch is a working ranch that welcomes visitors, and offers some pretty special adventures for guests too!

Want to explore the countryside on an ATV? Not a problem! There are adventures waiting to be had where you can get behind the wheel and feel the rush of that Hawaiian wind in your hair!

For those who want to take it a little slower, anyone over 8 years can just take your time and stroll through the pastures on horseback.

You can't help but notice the breathtaking views of the ranch when you arrive. It's the perfect spot to be enjoying all that Kahua Ranch has to offer. in fact, it's one of the most beautiful ranches on the Big Island, covering 8,500 acres and spanning 6 precipitation zones!

There is so much natural beauty and diverse landscapes, one one hand you can experience the Kehena Rainforest, and on the other, the Pohakuloa Desert with ocean vistas.

Finally what a better way to finish off your day but with an Award Winning Evening at the Ranch BBQ Sunset Dinner! This delicious local BBQ will get those taste buds excited, as you settle down after a long day of exploring and having fun.

Kahau Ranch as we said is also a working ranch, so kids will be able to see some domestic animals such as cattle and sheep, and ask questions about farming if they have any!

A stunning way to spend the day, in one of the most beautiful states in the US!
