What is there to do?

Occupying two historic Art Deco buildings, what was once Miami's first synagogue built in 1929 is now the Jewish Museum of Florida - a fascinating museum that the older kids will learn a great deal at.

The museum is filled with exhibits that tell the history of the Jewish community in the area, and it's a great way for kids to learn more about the Jewish experience within the state.

The core exhibit at the Jewish Museum of Florida is MOSAIC: Jewish Life In Florida, where a timeline wall, and over 600 photos and documents tell the story of 250 years of Jewish history in Florida.

As well as the permanent collections within the museum, the Jewish Museum of Florida also has a number of traveling exhibits, which means you can keep going back and learning something new.

At all times, the Jewish Museum of Florida features one permanent and one temporary exhibits.

All of the exhibits showcase and illustrate the richness and diversity of Jewish life, and the unique way that the Jewish community have influenced and inspired the city of Miami.

If you want to learn more about the museum, check out the walking tours, as here you can have all your questions answered by the knowledgeable guides and staff who are here to share the amazing stories.

Suited towards the older children, the Jewish Museum of Florida will open their eyes to the diversity of the city, and the strength and importance of the Jewish community.
