Occupying two historic Art Deco buildings, what was once Miami’s first synagogue built in 1929 is now the Jewish Museum of Florida – a fascinating museum that the older kids will learn a great deal at.

The core exhibit at the Jewish Museum of Florida is MOSAIC: Jewish Life In Florida, where a timeline wall, and over 600 photos and documents tell the story of 250 years of Jewish history in Florida.
As well as the permanent collections within the museum, the Jewish Museum of Florida also has a number of traveling exhibits, which means you can keep going back and learning something new.
