Don't you just love mixing things, trying things, attempting things, and working out how things work?  That's all science!  And there's no better way to learn than to really explore with your hands and mind.

The Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center offers more than 150 interactive exhibits, fun and hands-on educational programs as well as fascinating and thought-provoking IMAX films to really engage kids and get them excited about science.

The museum aims to spark the imagination and curiosity, and instil a sense of wonder in the world.  They have been going for more than 30 years and still love when they see a kids face light up when they have just discovered something new!  The "aha moment"!

They have a BioLab which is an interactive healthy and biology laboratory where kids of all ages can try their hands at REAL experiments!  They will also get to watch entertaining demonstrations.  They can push, tinker, pull and play with over 50 exhibits dedicated to showing them the basics of mechanics, electricity, magnetism, and all the weird and wonderful things connected to our world! 

For the littlest scientists, they also have the Wharf of Wonder where they are provided with a learning environment especially for them (under 5 years old) - as well as their parents.  Here, in the safe environment, they will build their self-confidence, expand and explore their creativity and curiosity. 

After all that, you can get your health fix in MyBodyWorks, where you can test your reflexes and flex your muscles!  Ooh look at that strength! 

They also hold many events throughout the year for the whole family, including parents night out, documentary nights and summer camps - so keep an eye out for them!
