The USA has an AMAZING history, and so why not start by learning about events that happened right under your feet! At the Grand Rapids Public Museum, the whole family can learn all about the history of the areas, and those people and events that shaped it into what you know today!

The Grand Rapids Public Museum has three floors of those core exhibits that focus on a number of topics, including culture, science and of course, history! The museum also showcase a number of special exhibits across the year, so watch out for those!

Are you excited to hear all about the exhibits that you can learn about during your time at the museum? How about walking in the footsteps of ancestors and looking at how the Native Americans lived, worked and studied in the area? A fascinating exhibit to learn from!

Grand Fish, Grand River let's kids explore how the largest and oldest fish in the Great Lake's region lived, and now is threatened.

Be Curious let's the family explore how the stories and objects are collected, and preserved, and ultimately displayed within the exhibits, and then check out the natural environments of West Michigan!

See how diverse the exhibits are!

A highlight of the Grand Rapids Public Museum is when kids can stroll through a 3/4 scale re-creation of Grand Rapids itself - only it's the 1890s! What better way to learn about history than to actually LIVE it!
