Younger kids will love the Children's Activity Pavilion, or they can actually touch rays with their own hands at he Sea Star Touch Tank Pavilion, always a big hit with kids. Here, they can enjoy a gentle hands on experience with some of the exhibits
It's always a good idea to stop at the Frances Langford Visitors Center too, where you can ask questions, find out timings for programs and plan your day.
There are often a number of programs across the day which are included in your admission, including Stingray Feeding, Sea Turtle Program, or Gamefish Feeding.
Guided Nature Trail walks are available but call ahead for details.
With it's mangrove swamp communities and coastal hardwood hammocks, the Florida Oceanographic really is an excellent opportunity for educating the family on these unique creatures and environments.
