Visited summer 2013. Our two daughters loved it! 11 year old especially enjoyed the playground: at least two really tall slides, really long snake tunnel, and swings. She also liked the little car that had a mist spraying out so you could sit on it & cool off. 8 year old especially enjoyed the train ride and the stationary Rubble car that kids can sit in. She also liked the Dino ride which is outside the park near the eating tables. It was fun for them to see all the characters. Mount Rockmore was funny. Really nice people running the theme park, also.

I went there last Summer and I enjoyed it. The people working there were very nice. In fact, my mom became friends with one of them and they email each other. The food was delicious and not too expensive. The train ride was very fun, and they have small toy dinosaurs hidden, so it’s cool to find them as you go along. When I went there were also some animals there (Baby Prairie Dog, A Rabbit, and Two Marmots) My family spent at least $400 dollars in the gift shop, and we were very pleased with how well they stayed in one piece on the flights back. The site is located near some good restaurants. And if you don’t go camping there are hotels near by. (mine was next to it)But the only negative thing about the park was the show, with Fred, Wilma, and Dino. The neck flap on Fred was waving around while he moved. And it wasn’t too good.

We spent two nights in one of the cabins in early June.Pros: Cabins were clean, each cabin has a heater, bathrooms are clean with updated showers, close to town, inexpensive.Cons: Poor view, very little privacy.

This is a review for the Bedrock city park itself, we did not camp. FYI things start shutting down at 4:30. They didn’t tell us this when we spent 40.00 to get in. We didn’t get to ride the train, which is the highlight of the park, because it shuts down. The manager at first told us we should of rode it as soon as we arrived. Then proceeded to offer me 1.00 off my admission. Then offered us a pass to drive 30+ miles again the next day to ride the train. Finally, we got 5.00 per person off. Not much to see and POOR customer service. Manager rude and gift shop attendant very Rude! We will not be back and we visit Rapid City area about 6x a year to visit family.
