It's always great to find a fascinating community museum where you can learn all about the events and history of the region, and the Farmington Museum is just that!

It's here that you can explore a wide variety of exhibits that can teach you all about the diverse history of the area, as well as it's culture. These are done through a number of artistic mediums, to give kids a true exploration of learning.

Year round, the Farmington Museum offer lectures (ideal for those over 12s), as well as performances, workshops, and special demonstrations that can give you that little extra depth in what oyu are learning about.

Keep an eye on additional activities that the museum put on, because you might not want to miss them! These include walking tours, as well as Tiny Tots parents / toddler classes, and even Family Star Walk Nights where you can appreciate that HUGE universe about you!

Seasonally, the museum also host a Growers Market in the parking lot, which is a great way to pick up some great local produce!

A fun way to spend the day out in Farmington, where the kids can realize they don't have to look further than right under their feet to learn some fascinating history!

Farmington Museum at Gateway Park FAQ’s

There are plenty of paces around the town where you can grab something to eat!

Check out the Growers Market in the parking lot from June to October! They are held Tuesdays from 4:30pm - 6pm, and Saturdays from 8am - 12pm

The store, Currents, features exhibit related merchandise, educational items and souvenirs. So make sure you take that pocket money!

Why not email their education coordinator to arrange the students for a visit! You never know what they will learn
