We LOVE zoos, and El Paso Zoo is no different! El Paso Zoo is a family friendly and animal-tastic experience in Texas where there's so much animal fun to be had!

Have you ever looked a lion straight in the eyes? Have you ever managed to get the attention of a meerkat? At El Paso Zoo, you have creatures from all around the world to have experiences with. Kids - what's your favorite animal? It might just be there waiting for you!

El Paso Zoo really does have animals from all across the globe. There are those beautiful creatures from across the Americas - from the sea lions to the macaws - and even some animals you might not have heard of before, like the Ocelot and Capybara.

Asia is represented too, with the Asian elephant, Malaysian tiger and even the Tamir. You don't have to travel to Asia to get up close to these beautiful creatures!

Of course, what would a zoo be without making you feel like you are on safari on the plains of Africa? From the Kudu to the Zebra - get out and experience them all!

El Paso Zoo loves you to not only have fun, but to learn about the animals. There is information on all the animals that you will encounter, as well as enrichment programs and training sessions. There are also some super fun activities for kids, like the treehouse playground, and the water spray area which is perfect for those hot summer days!

Don't forget the train ride!

El Paso Zoo is a fun family experience - make sure you allow the whole day - there is a lot to see!

The zoo really have the animals best interests at heart, so their enclosures are all designed to keep the animals happy, and they are always looking to help in the conservation of them

When you arrive check the times of animal feedings and other events so you can plan your day around the ones you want to see!

It's a zoo - of course there is a gift shop! Save up for those sweet soft animal toys, as well as educational and fun items - all animal related of course!

The zoo is a great place for students to come on field trips. Get them to have a Zooper experience out of the classroom - it's incredibly educational.

You can rent strollers at the gift shop.

There are salads at the Passport Cafe, and sandwiches in the Grasslands Cafe.

The park is wheelchair accessible, and there are wheelchairs available for rental at the gift shop
