Here's a fun fact! Did you know that Corson's Inlet State Park was established back in 1969 in order to protect one of the last undeveloped areas of land along the New Jersey oceanfront? How nice is that!
It's just as well, because that means families like yours have a chance to experience the natural beauty that fills it. An amazing outdoor adventure for outdoor loving families!
Corson's Inlet State Park is teeming with rich natural habitats, and diverse ecosystems - from the wildlife to sand dunes and estuaries.
Active kids have a host of fun activities to keep them entertained, from crabbing and fishing, to hiking and boating.
Strathmere Natural Area is 98 acres of undeveloped beachfront and undisturbed sand dunes, which are used by the endangered Piping Plover, Least Tern and Black simmers as nesting sites, so a very special place to experience!
Families who love the water can get out on a range of boats, from motor boats to canoes, and see the shoreline from a completely different perspective.
Fishing is also popular, and although inaccessible at high tide, the beach at Corson's Inlet is the best place for it. Bluefish, striped bass and weakfish are just some of the species that you can try and catch!
An amazing day out in this beautiful and protected piece of the New Jersey coast. Don't forget your camera!
